Bio: Ali played on the Youth National teams for five years. With the U-21 National team she played with Mia Hamm, Abby Wambach, Carli Loyd, and several other current US National team players. Ali competed for the USA against Brazil, Mexico, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and China. She also played against Australia, Japan, Holland, and China with the All-American team. Ali has played in 15 countries around the world with the National team, All-American team, and the East Coast Regional team.
Ali played youth soccer for the # 1 nationally ranked, Bethesda Dragons. She then attended the University of Maryland for 2 years where she was the leading scorer her freshman year. Ali transferred to Loyola College where she broke the scoring records in only two years, and was 2-time conference player of the year for soccer and conference student-athlete of the year for all conference sports.
Ali played for the 2007 National Championship team, the Washington Freedom. At the end of the 2007 season Ali was the 2nd leading scorer in the country and leading scorer for the Freedom, leading the Freedom to the National championship game against the Atlanta Silverbacks. Ali was named to the all-conference team in her rookie debut. Ali continued to play with the Freedom for 1 more year until she was picked up by the Colorado Force. Ali periodically flew out to Colorado to compete in games for the Force's 2010 season while residing in Baltimore. Ali has been running Champions Soccer Training for 10 years in the Baltimore area working with players of every skill level and ages 3 - adult.
Coach Abby was the MVP of Owings Mills High School team, team Captain and was selected for the all- team tournament her senior year. At Goucher College, Abby came in as a starter her freshman year. Abby was named Goucher College Women’s Soccer Most Improved Player in 2009. As a player at Goucher College Abby participated in individual training and college prep training with Champions Soccer Training.
Abby is currently the Assistant Goucher women's soccer coach and a recruiter for the Goucher soccer program.
Abby also competed in basketball at Goucher College and was a nominee for the 2008 Unsung Hero award and was also a team captain.
Abby has been working for Champions Soccer Training specializing in individual training since graduating college in 2009, team training since 2010, and Camp Management since 2012.
